MARINERS and PORTSMOUTH 2020 APPLICATIONS
**Prior sailing experience required**
The application is now available for 2020 Mariner I, II and III sessions and Portsmouth Adventure Camp (June 14 - July 4). You may apply for one or both programs. Both of these programs offer high adventure on the water. We strongly encourage you to select as many sessions of Mariner that you could attend to give you a greater chance of being selected.
Priority for both programs is given to older, qualified applicants and to those applicants who have not already completed the programs so as many campers as possible will eventually have the opportunity to participate in these popular Don Lee camps.You may apply for as many programs as you are age-qualified for, including if you have already completed Mariner or Portsmouth, but the likelihood of selection to repeat those programs is greatly reduced. Applicants must have completed 9th grade by summer camp to apply. Complete program descriptions can be found under Summer Camps/Camp Programs.
The deadline for all applications is Friday, November 1, 2019. If you apply for Mariner and/or Portsmouth and the Leader in Training program, we will assume the Leadership in Training program is your first choice for summer 2020.
Applicants will be notified no later than Friday, November 15, 2019. At that time, families will be required to go in and register their camper for the program and put down a deposit to hold the space. If you have additional questions, please email us at info@donleecenter.org.
