A Camp Don Lee Tradition!

Five days of the the perfect family vacation! Sailing, swimming, kayaking, fishing, canoeing, archery, arts and crafts, incredible food (you don't have to cook) and memories that last a lifetime!

A time to relax...

Family Camp is a long-standing tradition at Camp Don Lee. Family Camp is a time to relax. It is a time for families to be together and to be members of a larger family, the family of God. It involves parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and all kinds of family combinations coming together for a time of shared moments and building powerful memories.

There is a relaxed nature to these days with time for a number of age-level and inter-generational options each day.  The faith formation theme will be “Living in the Family of God".  Every day there will be an inter-generational 30-minute faith formation event with singing, scripture, drama, play and message served up in a variety of formats.  These sessions will include efforts to speak to family Bible Study, family devotional times, prayer time, family meals and holidays.  There will also be the evening vesper service lead by the cabin groups.  This year, families and individuals will have an exciting smorgasbord of regular activities to choose from for the week.

A time to discover...

All of our activity areas are "staffed" for you and your family to come and enjoy.  Whether it is swimming, floating or swinging off of the rope swing at our pool, the Lifeguards will be there to assist you. Down by the river the sailing staff can teach you and your family sailing lessons on our Aqua Finns, Sunfish, Hobie Cats, Flying Scots or take you for a sailboat ride.

There are canoes and kayaks available with an instructor for you to discover the gorgeous coastal Gatlin Creek. And at our Archery Range you can learn basic archery skills and hit balloons on our targets!

Family Camp is created for you to have a stress-free environment to vacation and enjoy time together as a family and as a larger group of families.
