All of our cabins are fully heated for winter use with bunk-bed style sleeping quarters. Our older block cabins sleep 20 people in three rooms. Our newer cabins sleep 20-24 people in five or six smaller rooms. All of our cabins are equipped with a screened-in porch area facing the water, which can be used for small group meetings. There are approximately 250 sleeping spaces available. We have one cabin that is handicapped accessible, with five rooms sleeping 20 people.
When you are at Don Lee you will feel like you never left home because our cooks prepare some of the best home style meals. All groups are expected to have their meals prepared by the Don Lee Camp & Retreat Center staff. The meals are served family style in our dining hall. The main dining room seats 180 people and the small dining room seats 80 people. Both rooms are heated and air conditioned.
These rooms may also be used for classroom or meeting areas.
In addition to the dining hall and the porch areas in the cabins, there is our Fellowship Hall, which can seat more than 200 people. It is equipped with a large fireplace which is ideal for activities and games. Our Community Life Center can hold up to 350 people and is perfect for large groups and indoor games. The Chapel overlooks the Neuse River and can seat up to 25 people. Vesper Beach is a riverside outdoor theater area, which can seat around 200 people.
