Dear Don Lee parents,
We are so excited to have your camper join us for Summer Camp 2020! I'm sure you have been busy packing, shopping, labeling and more to get your child ready, just as our staff and counselors have been hard at work in preparation for their arrival.
This Summer we have decided to implement a 'Care Package Policy' to help alleviate the simple issue that care packages at camp have, indeed, gotten out of control! Our staff and counselors have spent hours each day dealing with mail and package delivery and, quite frankly, we would rather them spend that time with your child.
With our new policy, we ask that you:
•refrain from sending a care package if your camper is only here for one week
•no food or drinks (these items have caused bug problems in our cabins, and can affect allergies of other campers)
•no silly string, water balloons, squirt guns, sling shots, etc. which could cause more problems than fun
•if you do send a care package, consider a group gift for the cabin to make sure everyone joins in the fun
•limit the size of your package to no larger than 14" x 12" x 3 1/2" (Medium Flat Rate USPS Box)
•do not leave packages or mail for delivery during the week, as we simply do not have the staff and space to accommodate
