Bond with your friends, worship God and grow in your faith in the beauty of creation. This retreat will help you kick off the new year with a deeper connection to the girls in your church group and to Christ. Click HERE for More Information! (RSVP appreciated but not required) Bring your family and a friend, and join hundreds to enjoy all the exciting camp activities you know and love, and MORE! Highlights of the day include: Camp Tours Never been to camp before? Coming for the first time this summer? There will be tours throughout the day to show you all the exciting events and facilities at Camp Don Lee. See the new anchor patio of bricks, the plans for the new nature center, and the new Mason Marina area.. Camp Activities There will be canoeing, kayaking, sailing, archery, and a few extra special events throughout the afternoon. All-Camp Picnic: You and your family or you and your church group can bring your own picnic to spread out for the evening meal. There will be Picnic tables and special grassy areas to enjoy with your family or group. Camp Don Lee will make sure to provide the drinks (water, sweet tea, unsweet tea) and dessert! For more information or to RSVP: 252-249-1106 ext. 23 info@donleecenter.org May 4-6, 2018 This weekend is designed for fathers and their sons or daughters ages 5 and up. This is a time of shared experiences and relationship building for fathers and their children. Participants will arrive on Friday night and depart Sunday after lunch. There will be a presentation program on Friday evening and Saturday for the entire group. There will be activities including canoeing, sailing, archery, games, fishing, hiking, and challenges during the day on Saturday and part of Sunday. There will also be a closing worship on Sunday morning. The price is $125 per adult, $85 per child (5 years old and up) The program includes two night lodging, five meals, and all activities.
TBD (Call for availability) For over 40 years Don Lee has depended on volunteers to help repair, clean, and set-up the facility for the "season". Things have changed! The season in now "year around" and the need is constant. We have set aside two special weekends to focus the work of volunteers. We seek groups of 2-50 to help in a wide variety of tasks, jobs, and special needs. Skill level can vary from none at all to professionally trained and experienced. There is a great sense of fellowship and of helping where there is a need for volunteers for churches, youth groups, and even families. Recent projects have included rebuilding the Don Lee pier after a hurricane. Replacing the docks at the swimming pool, roof repair, painting, screening, yard work, general repair and building new challenges on the challenge course. We like to match skill with jobs. Contact us and let us know you would like to help out. Housing is free and meals are only $8.50 per person per meal.
