PAYMENT/REFUND POLICY FOR SUMMER CAMP 2020 DUE TO COVID-19
For those families who will be here for the start of sessions Week 2 (June 14), all payments are due immediately but no later than June 1.
If payments are not made, we will assume you do not plan to come to camp and we can offer spots to others eager to attend. If your family has made a decision not to attend the camp you are registered for that begins week 2 (June 14), we would appreciate notification as soon as possible. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know. If you will label the subject line with the camp session (ex: Mariner I, LIT I) that will be very helpful.
If complete payment is not made on any of these sessions, we will assume you will not be attending and we will begin to offer those places to other campers displaced from sessions and/or on waiting lists for those sessions. Once the final payment deadline is passed, refunds, less the non-refundable deposit ($75 one week, $150 two week, $225 three week and $300 LIT) will only be available due to camper or family illness. We expect all families to take any potentially contagious illness in the household seriously and follow the guidelines we send for camper health checks prior to camp. This request will need to be made in writing and sent to email@example.com. Please put the session name in the subject line.For Don Lee at Rockfish Camp, payment in full is due upon reservation. Once this reservation is made, refunds, less the non-refundable deposit ($75 one week), will be available only due to camper or family illness. For those families with elementary age campers, if you are interested in potential day camp options with Don Lee staff in July, we will communicate those and ask that you keep your funds in your previously paid session to avoid further credit card processing fees. If you are interested in transferring your funds from Don Lee to a day camp at Chestnut Ridge or Rockfish or residential camp at Rockfish (open for elementary) create an UltraCamp account through that camp's website and email firstname.lastname@example.org. Rockfish is holding Elementary Resident camp June 14-19, June 21-26, or July 26-31.
If you would like to wait with us and see what openings occur as we move through the summer or if we are able to add additional sessions later in the summer, we need you to keep balances with us so we can see the information in our registration system. Unfortunately, during these unprecedented times, some of the limitations of the system make it very difficult for us to track customer requests and registrations, unless they stay registered in our system with payments on the account for the current year.
Transferring your registration to Summer 2021 (and opting out of all 2020 camp options) is an option open to all registered campers. If you are in a multi-week program, we would ask that you place half of the total fees for the session on the account to hold it for 2021 due to the high popularity of these programs. The deadline to make this change will be July 1, 2020. Send your request to email@example.com
